Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson realized that there would be no turning back once they got together in their Hamburg church. Ashley was only 17 and hadn't had a boyfriend, so they took it slow. It was romance at first sight. Andrew sought God during New Year's Day, just as 2016 was about to begin, to ask that God would be gracious to him in by blessing him with one last thing for this year...that Ashley say yes to him and marry him. Ashley would like to create the wedding with a rustic, folk theme to represent her and Andrew. They paired their two favorite things for the wedding. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of the land Ashley lived on as a child. From the trail they walked towards the field that the couple said I do in. Ashley was a keen observer and played around on it. In addition, Andrew and Ashley had explored across the field several times since they first began dating. Since almost everything was DIY by the groom and bride, their personalization was essential. Ashley was the artist and created many of the decorations, and Andrew and Ashley's father made the seating and ceremony arch. Ashley states that if it wasn't for Anna's amazing floral designs, our wedding might not have turned out so magical as I wanted. Absolutely stunning.
